Boeing Breaks Ground for New Facility in Oklahoma City
B-1, C-130 modification programs, jobs moving to site

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 26, 2011 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] today broke ground on a new facility it will lease in Oklahoma City. The six-story, 320,000-square-foot building will be home to the Boeing B-1 bomber program and C-130 Avionics Modernization Program, which are transitioning to Oklahoma. Joining Muilenburg at the event were U.S. Rep. Tom Cole; Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin; Councilman Patrick Ryan; Richard Tanenbaum, building developer, Gardner Tanenbaum Holdings; and Mike Emmelhainz, Boeing Oklahoma City site director.
