Boeing Delivers Lion Air's first 737-900ER with New Boeing Sky Interior

SEATTLE, April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Lion Air, Indonesia's largest private airline, today celebrated delivery of the carrier's first Next-Generation 737-900ER with the new Boeing Sky Interior.

Designed to dramatically improve the flying experience for passengers, the Boeing Sky Interior features a number of enhancements. The sculpted sidewalls of the interior provide passengers with a feeling of spaciousness. New window reveals make the windows seem larger. Intuitive placement of switches and improved sound quality are further features that enhance the passenger experience.
