Boeing's Acquisition of Autometric, Inc. Complete

The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) today completed its acquisition of Autometric, Inc. With today's announcement, Autometric becomes a part of the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) division within the Boeing Space and Communications (S&C) Group led by President Jim Albaugh.

Autometric, Inc. is considered one of the premier geospatial information technology companies in the United States. It provides end-to-end solutions to support modeling, visualization, simulation and analysis of imagery and associated digital geographic products. With 1999 revenues of approximately $80 million, Autometric has more than 500 employees.

"Autometric's vast array of world-class technologies and the solid record of achievement, coupled with existing IDS capabilities, will position Boeing as a leader in the areas of space imagery visualization and geospatial information, " stated Dr. Roger Roberts, vice president and general manager of Integrated Defense Systems.
