ST. LOUIS, Oct. 1, 2015 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] has been selected as the prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force’s Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS). This new electronic warfare suite will counter threats and better protect air crews. The EPAWSS program, which will upgrade existing F-15 aircraft, is valued at approximately $4 billion.

The seven advanced Chinooks were ordered as part of a U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales agreement with Australia in 2012.
