SÃO PAULO, July 26, 2019 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] will invest in a partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute to boost STEM and comprehensive education over the three next years. The investment funds the Comprehensive Education program, which will help more than 2 million school children and youth with a quality education that builds the necessary skills for the 21st century, not only to ensure proper school learning, but also social emotional skills, such as collaboration, critical thinking, logical thinking, creativity and communication, among many others.
This latest investment amounts to USD 3 million and expands Boeing’s commitment to Brazil while building on the company’s existing collaboration with Ayrton Senna Institute. In the last two years, Boeing and the organization have offered coding classes and STEM training for 271 educators in 125 schools, reaching 4,453 students throughout Brazil.
