The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] is pleased that LAN Airlines, South America's largest airline, has announced its intent to acquire 26 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Successful conclusion of negotiations would result in LAN booking the largest order of 787s to date in Latin America.
