MEASAT-3, a Boeing 601 model satellite, is loaded onto an aircraft and readied for its flight from Los Angeles to the historic Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, where it will be prepared for a December launch aboard an International Launch Services Proton/Breeze M rocket. MEASAT-3 was built for MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd at Boeing's Space and Intelligence Systems satellite manufacturing facility in El Segundo, Calif.
