Boeing, Continental Announce Order

Continental Airlines will increase its 787 Dreamliner fleet to 20 under a deal announced today, making it the U.S. carrier with the most 787s on order. Continental plans to use the 787s in combination with its 777 airplanes to position itself for long-haul business opportunities. The airline also announced an order for 24 fuel-efficient Next-Generation 737s equipped with Blended-Winglets, which will replace less fuel-efficient planes in its fleet.
