The National Aeronautics Association honored the record-setting distance flight of the Boeing [NYSE: BA] 777-200LR Worldliner as one of the most memorable aviation records of 2005 during an awards ceremony Friday evening in Arlington, VA.

The 777-200LR is shown here landing at London Heathrow Airport Nov. 10, establishing a new world record for distance traveled nonstop by a commercial jetliner.
