Boeing has delivered the world's first longest-range commercial airliner to Pakistan International Airlines. PIA's 777-200LR Worldliner left Paine Field in Everett, Wash., on Saturday, Feb. 25, and flew to Manchester, England, where it picked up passengers before flying on to Islamabad, Pakistan. PIA plans to begin offering direct, nonstop flights from Toronto to Karachi on March 3. The airline will receive a second Boeing 777-200LR in late March.
