Boeing and Low-Cost Aircraft Leasing (LCAL) announced an order for six Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. The order, recorded earlier this year and attributed to an unidentified customer, establishes LCAL as the first leasing company worldwide to commit to the all-new, advanced technology 787. The order is valued at approximately $780 million at list prices. LCAL is designing its low-cost business model around a single fleet of 787s.
