Hapag-Lloyd Flug, German carrier and member of the TUI Travel Group, ordered 10 new Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s as part of its fleet standardization plan. The order is valued at $655 million at list prices, with deliveries beginning in early 2006. The 737s will be equipped with advanced Blended Winglet technology. Hapag-Lloyd already operates the 737-800 and has experienced the 737's superior performance first-hand, the airline said.
