Air China has placed an order for an additional seven Boeing 737-700 jetliners, like the one pictured from a 2003 delivery. The 737-700s and -800s in the Air China fleet form the backbone of the airline's domestic and regional system, providing greater reliability and efficiency than competing airplanes.

The world's airlines have ordered more than 2,300 Next-Generation 737 airplanes and more than 1,500 have been delivered.
