Boeing and Nippon Cargo Airlines today announced an order for four 747-400 Special Freighters. The four passenger airplanes will be converted to freighters and delivered to Nippon Cargo between 2007 and 2009. Boeing announced a Nippon Cargo order for three factory-built 747-400 Freighters in February 2004, which together with this Special Freighter order will replace the airline's older 747-100 and 747-200 Freighters.
