Spanish carrier Air Europa has signed an order for four new Boeing 737-800 airplanes, to be leased from ITOCHU AirLease, B.V., of Japan. The 737-800s, to be delivered in 2004, are the first of 15 new Boeing jetliners Air Europa plans to add to its fleet. Air Europa will use the new airplanes to replace 737-400s on its Spanish and intra-European routes. Air Europa is an all-Boeing operator.
