777 Team Celebrates Newest Boeing 777, the 777-300ER

In front of thousands of employees, suppliers, partners and customers, Boeing unveiled to the world the newest member of the 777 family, the 777-300ER (extended range), on Nov. 14 at the final assembly Plant in Everett, Wash. The airplane was unveiled in a dramatic ceremony where 26 five-by 50-foot banners with the numbers "777" were dropped from the factory ceiling to reveal the airplane. Shown here is Alan Mulally, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Featured speakers also included Dave Calhoun, president and CEO of Cincinnati-based GE Aircraft Engines and Lars Andersen, Boeing Longer-Range 777 program manager.
