The Sonic Cruiser concept of faster flight continues to be developed by Boeing. The airplane would reduce flight times on longer-range flights by 15 to 20 percent. Though it would incorporate the most advanced technologies, the airplane would also fit into the airport infrastructures used to support today's airplanes.
