Polynesian Airlines celebrates the delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 with performance-enhancing winglets. Polynesian is the first airline in the South Pacific to fly the 737-800 featuring winglets that reduce drag and boost fuel efficiency. The carrier will lease the airplane through International Lease Finance Corporation and will operate direct services from Apia, Samoa, to Australia and Honolulu.
