The first Boeing 737-600 to sport the design of China Southwest Airlines stands ready to depart to the People's Republic of China. The new airplane also is the first 737-600 to operate in China.

The 737-600 is the smallest member of the 737 family and can carry 110 to 132 passengers. Powered by General Electric CFM56-7B turbofans, the highly efficient jetliner has a range of 3,050 statute miles (5,649 kilometers).
