Boeing Capital Corp. announced today the opening of a new office in Dublin, Ireland. This marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its international presence.
Selecting Dublin was an obvious choice according to Jim Palmer, president of Boeing Capital Corp.
"The city of Dublin has established itself as an anchor in the European financial community" said Palmer. "In alignment with our international growth strategies, Dublin offers the right locale when considering the city's financial reputation, central location, and available intellectual capital."
Cian Dooley, senior director of Boeing Capital Corp, will head the office. Dooley will report to Tony Simpson, managing director for Boeing Capital's European aircraft financial services business. Simpson is based in Brussels.
"Cian's experience in structuring complex financial solutions and international banking background, combined with his aircraft and commercial equipment knowledge will be a tremendous asset to Boeing Capital Corp. and our customers," said Simpson. "Cian understands the business environment of our European customers and the dynamics of a global economy."
Boeing Capital Corp., a key element of The Boeing Company's "total customer solutions" strategy, offers a wide range of financial services and solutions for all Boeing products and services. The Dublin office will source, develop and execute business from existing and new clients of The Boeing Company focusing on transactions for Boeing Capital's Aircraft Financial Services and Commercial Financial Services groups.
