Pegasus Airlines, one of the leading private carriers in Turkey, has taken delivery of its second Boeing 737-800 in a month. This airplane is leased through International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). With the addition of this new airplane, the Pegasus fleet numbers 19 with a seating capacity of 3,439. Pegasus operates 11 Boeing 737-800s as well as eight earlier 737 models. This past year, the airline operated charter flights to 10 destinations in Turkey and 86 in Europe. Pegasus expects to carry its 2,700,000th passenger by the end of the year
