Responding to customer demand for enhanced network schedules and more frequency to travel destinations, Asiana Airlines recently added a new intermediate-size airplane to its fleet with its first Boeing 777-200ER (Extended Range).
Asiana is leasing the airplane through International Lease Finance Corporation and will introduce the new 777 into service this month to serve popular destinations in Southeast Asia and the trans-Pacific region.
"Asiana's continued business success and the decision to select the Boeing 777-200ER to expand its business in the future indicates the unmatched performance our customers are experiencing with the 777 airplane," said Doug Groseclose, vice president, Sales - Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "By providing the right products and solutions, Asiana is able to meet its customers needs."
The 777-200ER airplane offers unlimited possibilities with unmatched range and shorter trip times than competing models in its class.
