Father And Son Pilots Fly Two New Boeing 737s To Denmark

Capt. Poul Moller, left, and Capt. Lars Moller were at Boeing Field in Seattle Feb. 12 to collect two new Boeing Next-Generation 737s and deliver them home to Denmark. Besides being father and son, the Mollers are technical pilots working for two different Copenhagen-based airlines. Poul departed Seattle at noon that day in a Boeing 737-800, shown left, leased by Sterling European Airlines from International Lease Finance Corporation. Lars flew off in Maersk Air's new Boeing 737-700, right, two hours later. Both men said it was coincidence that the two jetliners were delivered by Boeing on the same day.
