Asiana Airlines recently added a new intermediate-size airplane to its fleet with its first Boeing 777-200ER (Extended Range). The airline is leasing the new 777 through International Lease Finance Corporation and will introduce it into service this month to serve popular destinations in Southeast Asia and the trans-Pacific region.
"Asiana's continued business success and the decision to select the Boeing 777-200ER to expand its business in the future indicates the unmatched performance our customers are experiencing with the 777 airplane," said Doug Groseclose, vice president, Sales - Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "By providing the right products and solutions, Asiana is able to meet its customers needs."
Asiana operates 49 Boeing airplanes, which include 25 737s, 12 767s, and 12 747s.
