The Boeing Company today presented eight aircraft models to the University of Missouri's Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) unit. Col. A.J. Briding, commander of the University of Missouri - Columbia's Air Force ROTC Detachment 440 (right) and cadet Albert Rampone (left) accept the models from retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Roger Carleton, Boeing Military Aircraft and Missile System's director of the Office of the President.
The Boeing aircraft represented by the models are the B-1B Lancer,B-2 Spirit,B-52 Stratofortress,C-17 Globemaster III,F-15E Strike Eagle,F-22 Raptor,KC-10 Extender, and Joint Strike Fighter.
Boeing considers the University of Missouri - Columbia a focal institution, for which the company maintains an executive-level liaison because of the university's excellent business curriculum.
