The U.S. Air Force announced today that it is prepared to move forward with the launch of a Boeing Delta II rocket carrying a Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space-built Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite.
The launch will be rescheduled pending range availability; the Air Force mission had been originally scheduled for April 21, but scrubbed twice. The issues encountered with the range facilities and the potential issue with the GPS spacecraft have been resolved.
