El Al Israel Airlines first Boeing 777-200ER (extended range) was revealed to an assembled crowd of 200 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle Jan. 31. The massive twinjet, hidden in the darkness outside the museum, became the focus of everyone's attention through a spectacle of fog and flashing lights, while music played from "2001: A Space Odyssey." This is the first of three 777-200ERs to be delivered to El Al in the first quarter of 2001.
