Jefferson S. Hofgard has joined The Boeing Company as director, international policy, for the Space & Communications Group in the company's Washington, D.C. office.
Hofgard, 40, is responsible for coordinating export policy and strategies for the group's international business.
He comes to Boeing from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he was most recently assistant director for aeronautics and space.
From 1989 to 1993, Hofgard was at NASA Headquarters, first as a senior policy officer and later as acting chief of international program policy, concentrating on U.S. -Russian cooperation.
He holds a bachelor's degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado and a master's in international relations from the London School of Economics.
