The Boeing Company announced that Bradley R. Thayer, formerly with Lockheed Martin Corp., will join Boeing as vice president of corporate development in its Treasury organization. In this new position, Thayer will be responsible for activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments and other transactions.
Thayer, 39, joined Lockheed Martin in 1995 as assistant treasurer, corporate financial analysis/international. Previously he worked as a director of investment banking at CS First Boston Corp. in Los Angeles and as an associate in investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. in New York.
Thayer has both an undergraduate degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
