The first production V-22 Osprey tiltrotor was rolled out last week during a ceremony at the Bell Helicopter Textron Flight Research Center in Arlington, Texas. The aircraft is the first of four production aircraft the Bell-Boeing team will deliver to the U.S. Marine Corps this year to be used for Operational Evaluation in October. The Bell-Boeing team is scheduled to build 360 MV-22 aircraft for the Marine Corps and 50 CV-22 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command.
