Britain's award-winning charter airline, Air 2000, takes delivery of its first new Boeing 767 jetliner. The airplane can accommodate up to 344 passengers in a single-class configuration and 312 passengers in a two-class configuration. The 767 is a favorite among passengers for long flights, with three out of every four seats either next to a window or aisle. With a range of 6,000 miles the Boeing 767 gives Air 2000 the ability to fly nonstop to Mexico from England. The 767 can be flown by the same pilots as the popular 757 in Air 2000's fleet. Air 2000 has established itself as a leading charter airline and has received multiple awards, including Best UK Charter Airline and Scottish Passenger Agents' Association Award for 1998.
