New Boeing Support Program Kicks off with Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines is the first customer to sign up for a new Boeing product offering aimed at supplying customized replacement floor panels for the commercial airplane aftermarket. Boeing recently began producing the replacement floor panels at its Spokane, Wash., facility. Numerically controlled machinery at the Boeing Spokane plant cuts and drills composite floor panels to exacting specifications. An advanced software program analyzes panel sizes and shapes to determine the optimum cutting pattern for reduced waste.
