Transavia's third Boeing 737-800 took off from Boeing Field in Seattle Aug. 27. Two other 737-800s were delivered to Transavia earlier this year as part of a 1995 order for eight 737-800s and options for an additional 12. The 737-800 is configured to seat between 184-188 passengers, filling a capacity niche between the other 737-300s and 757-200s in the Transavia fleet. Transavia operates the 737-800s in Europe and around the Mediterranean coast.
