Kuwait Airways Takes Delivery of its First 777-200
Kuwait Airways, flag carrier for Kuwait, recently took delivery of its first 777-200. The Middle East carrier's second 777 twinjet will deliver in June of this year. The airline ordered both 777s in July, 1996, with an option taken on one 777, and all will be powered by General Electric GE90 engines. Kuwait is the 4th Middle East airline to integrate the 777 into its fleet.
