F-22 Raptor Soars in First Flight

The F-22 Raptor is widely regarded as the most advanced fighter in the world. Boeing is building the F-22 with Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Air Force. Boeing is responsible for the wings, rear fuselage, radar, 70 percent of mission software, avionics integration and test, and the training, life-support and fire-protection systems. Pratt & Whitney supplies the F119 engines.
