Boeing Reports Second Quarter Deliveries

The Boeing Company announced today that it delivered 92 commercial jet transports in the quarter ended June 30. The deliveries in the second quarter consisted of 35 737s, 12 747s, 12 757s, 12 767s and 21 777s. Total commercial jet transport deliveries for the first six months of 1997 were 160, consisting of 60 737s, 22 747s, 24 757s, 23 767s and 31 777s. Additionally, one non-commercial 767 was delivered during the first quarter, the fourth of four that are being modified as 767 AWACS for the Government of Japan.

The company continues to project total 1997 deliveries to be in the 340-airplane range.
