The Boeing Company announced today that it delivered 68 commercial jet transports in the quarter that ended March 31. The deliveries consisted of 25 737s, 10 747s, 12 757s, 11 767s and 10 777s. Additionally, one non-commercial 767 was delivered during the first quarter, the fourth of four that will be modified as 767 AWACS for the Government of Japan.
The Company continues to project total 1997 commercial jet transport deliveries to be approximately 340 airplanes.
