British Airways Adds to Boeing 757 Fleet

Boeing Commercial Airplane Group has confirmed an order for three 757 twinjets from British Airways.

The first aircraft will be delivered this December and the remaining two in early 1998, bringing British Airways' 757 fleet total to 51. Powered by Rolls Royce RB211-E4 engines, the airplanes will be used on British Airways' short-haul routes from London's Heathrow airport.
