Boeing to Spotlight Broad Range of Commercial, Defense Products and Services at Aero India 2007

The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] will spotlight its broad range of capabilities in the commercial and defense markets at the upcoming Aero India 2007 show, which begins in Bangalore, India on Feb. 7.

"Boeing enters the show with a focused view of the tremendous opportunities in India as the market continues to develop," said Tom Downey, Boeing senior vice president, Communications. "Our comprehensive presence at the show will underscore our strong commitment to our customers, partners and suppliers."

Boeing Integrated Defense Systems will feature the combat-proven F/A-18F Super Hornet strike fighter, which will be on display and conduct daily aerial demonstrations with a full weapons load during the show. Also on display will be the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, whose unparalleled lift capabilities have been proven in numerous military and humanitarian roles around the world. Visitors will also see Boeing's C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlifter at Aero India 2007.

The Boeing Commercial Airplanes' exhibit will feature large-scale models of its family of airplanes in both customer and Boeing liveries, as well as interactive displays. Commercial Airplanes Services and Boeing Capital Corporation will also participate in the exhibit.

Boeing is sponsoring the Aero India 2007 Media Center and will hold a series of briefings on key programs and issues. Each day, media are asked to check the briefing schedule at the Media Center for updates and changes to the schedule.

TUESDAY, February 6

1430   Boeing Integrated Defense Systems Market Overview -- Oberoi Hotel
Mark Kronenberg, vice president, International Business Development -- Asia-Pacific, will update reporters on current and future IDS defense opportunities in India. He will be joined by Anil Shrikhande, IDS vice president and country leader for India, who will brief on the developing IDS footprint in India. Dan Korte, vice president, Supplier Management & Procurement, will review how IDS is identifying and strengthening partnerships with Indian industry.

WEDNESDAY, February 7

1450   Boeing Commercial Airplanes Overview -- Media Center Hall 1
Dinesh Keskar, vice president, Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, will provide an overview of the Indian commercial aviation market and the company's products and services that are supporting the industry.

1540   P-8I Briefing -- Media Center Hall 1
Tim Norgart, director, Business Development for Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare & Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, will provide a look at an exciting product well-suited for the India market. The Boeing P-8I, designed specifically for the Indian Navy, is the “next generation" in maritime patrol and reconnaissance.

THURSDAY, February 8

1400   F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Briefing -- Media Center Hall 1
Adm. Jeff Wierenga, director, International Programs Office for the U.S. Navy; and Mr. Chris Chadwick, vice president and general manager of Boeing Global Strike Systems, will present an overview of Boeing's market-leading F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The Super Hornet is the world's most advanced, combat-proven multi-role strike fighter in production today.

FRIDAY, February 9

1000   CH-47 Chinook Briefing -- Media Center Hall 1
Tom Cunningham, director, International Business Development for Rotorcraft Programs, will provide an overview of the military and humanitarian capabilities of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The CH-47 Chinook is the world's standard in providing transportation for a multitude of missions.
