Boeing Seeks Buyers for Undeveloped Properties

The Boeing Company today announced its intention to sell or lease undeveloped properties at four sites in Washington state and Oregon. The properties, which total 316 acres, are located at the following sites:

  • Frederickson (Pierce Co., Wash.) 184 acres (for sale)
  • Portland (Multnomah Co., Ore.) 38 acres (for sale)
  • Spokane (Spokane Co., Wash.) 81 acres (for sale)
  • Thompson/Isaacson (King Co., Tukwila, Wash.) 13 acres (for lease)

All the properties are adjacent to current Boeing operations. The decision to sell or lease these properties does not impact existing operations or affect developed portions of the sites, according to Jim Nelson, vice president of Facilities for Boeing Commercial Airplane Group.

"The decision to sell or lease these properties was made as part of the company's ongoing evaluation of its long-term, companywide facilities requirements," Nelson said. "The goal is to ensure that Boeing has the proper size and types of properties and facilities needed to support its business requirements in the next 20 years and beyond."

Boeing has retained Cushman & Wakefield of Washington to market the properties.
