ARLINGTON, Va., July 22, 2024 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] is committing $250,000 from the Boeing Charitable Trust to assist with recovery and relief efforts in Houston following Hurricane Beryl and in New Mexico in the wake of devastating wildfires.

Funds will support the following organizations:

“We extend our heartfelt sympathy to those who have been impacted by Hurricane Beryl and the New Mexico wildfires,” said Cheri Carter, vice president of Boeing Global Engagement. “Boeing remains committed to supporting our partners in these regions as they provide both immediate relief and long-term assistance to aid in recovery.”

“On behalf of Combined Arms, we are profoundly grateful to Boeing for their unwavering commitment and generous financial support in response to Hurricane Beryl,” said Mike Hutchings, CEO of Combined Arms. “Boeing’s steadfast dedication to community support has been a cornerstone of our recovery initiatives, and their leadership continues to inspire and drive positive change.”

“The Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico is truly grateful for the support Boeing has provided to Lincoln and Otero counties,” said Terra V. Consistent with Boeing employee gift match programs, the company will match qualifying employee contributions made in support of relief efforts.

Disaster recovery and relief efforts align with Boeing's ongoing commitment to the communities where the company has a presence. Boeing employs more than 7,000 people in Texas who support defense and commercial customers in space and launch and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, and more than 300 people in New Mexico supporting electro-optical systems and directed energy applications for a variety of missions.
