Boeing Defense CEO, Next Generation JSTARS, Featured at Air Force Association Conference
Company also receiving award for C-17 program, making donation to AFA’s Wounded Airman program

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 9, 2014 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] Defense, Space & Security CEO Chris Chadwick’s Sept. 17 speech about the evolving defense industrial base will highlight the company’s activities during the annual Air Force Association Air and Space Conference & Technology Exposition, Sept. 15-17 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

In addition to Chadwick’s speech, Boeing will also brief media about the Next Generation Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) program, as the company works on a solution for the U.S. Air Force’s mission needs.

During the Air Force Anniversary dinner on Sept. 17, Boeing will receive the 2014 John R. Alison Award for outstanding contributions by industrial leadership in national defense for the development of the C-17 Globemaster III. Also during that event, the company will make a donation to the Air Force Association’s Wounded Airman Program, which helps those wounded in action who are facing challenges as they return home.

Boeing's exhibit at Booth 633 will feature the company's wide range of aircraft, precision weapon and satellite solutions, including the KC-46A tanker, F-15 fighter, Minuteman missile guidance system, Phantom Eye unmanned airborne system and Wideband Global SATCOM satellite.
