ST. LOUIS, Oct. 1, 2015 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] has been selected as the prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force’s Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS). This new electronic warfare suite will counter threats and better protect air crews. The EPAWSS program, which will upgrade existing F-15 aircraft, is valued at approximately $4 billion.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 10, 2015 – The world’s first all-electric propulsion satellite, built by Boeing [NYSE: BA] for Bermuda-based ABS, is now operational after an on-orbit handover on August 31. The ABS-3A, a 702SP (small platform) satellite, expands ABS’ communications services in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

BRISBANE, Australia, Sept. 10, 2015 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] will provide the next-generation communications system for land-based Australian Defence Forces (ADF) deployed around the world. Developed by an industry team led by Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), the Land 2072 Phase 2B system will provide secure wideband voice, data and video services over wireless and wired infrastructure between deployed forces and headquarters.
