ST. LOUIS, July 8, 2011 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today announced that the Employees Community Fund of Boeing St. Louis raised more than $2.6 million during its 2011 annual campaign. The money will be dispersed to more than 300 local charities in the categories of health and human services, education, civic, environment, and arts and culture.

The ECF of Boeing St. Louis is an employee-owned and -directed giving program that allows employees to support the needs of the St. Louis community via tax-deductible recurring payroll deductions or one-time gifts. Boeing pays all administrative costs for the ECF so that 100 percent of every employee dollar contributed supports the community.

The ECF of Boeing St. Louis is one of approximately 20 local ECF funds throughout the world. More than 4,000 nonprofit organizations benefit from the average $31 million in employee contributions each year. More information is available at the ECF page on the Boeing website.
