Boeing

Boeing is one of two companies selected as a preferred bidder for a technology demonstration program for Project Eagle, a major upgrade to the United Kingdom's AWACS fleet. During the one year contract , Boeing will demonstrate its proposal during a series of test scenarios at a company lab in Kent, Wash. The winner of the competition will be selected in late 2007, with production work beginning in early 2008.
