First web site of its kind, the Boeing PART Page was launched three years ago and today is accessed by airlines and maintenance providers responsible for nearly three-fourths of the world's jet transport fleet. The volume of spare parts transactions on the site has grown more than 100 percent each year since the launch. The PART Page provides airlines and maintenance bases with a direct link to half a million different types of spare parts stored in seven Boeing distribution centers worldwide. The site processes about 18,000 transactions on an average day, including orders as well as inquiries about shipping status, inventory levels and pricing. The acronym PART in the site's name stands for Part Analysis and Requirements Tracking.
