Boeing Statement on Oct. 21 707 Accident

SEATTLE, Oct. 22, 2009 – Boeing offers heartfelt sympathy to the families and friends of those lost in the Oct. 21 Boeing 707 accident near Sharjah International Airport.

The U.S. government is currently coordinating with the U.A.E. government to provide assistance under the guidelines of ICAO Annex 13 and current U.S. export control laws. Boeing is on standby to provide technical assistance in coordination with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board.
