ARLINGTON, Va., March 2, 2012 -- The Boeing Company today issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's competitive solicitation for an upgraded, fully integrated, and commercially available Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS): "Boeing is proud of its role as the prime contractor to provide critical video surveillance capabilities along the U.S. northern border for Customs and Border Protection agents. Boeing led the design, integration, deployment, installation and acceptance testing of all system components in the Detroit and Buffalo, N.Y., sectors, successfully completing RVSS installation at 16 sites covering 52 miles.
