ROME, June 12, 2014 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] will work with Head Italia, a leading Italian military supplier, to provide Italian government and defense customers with advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect their critical data and infrastructure.

“This agreement reinforces Boeing’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with market experts to develop innovative and tailored cybersecurity solutions. We will be able to enhance the work that Head Italia is already doing to protect Italy’s information security and critical infrastructure,” said Per Beith, director of Boeing’s Information Security Solutions.

Under the agreement, Boeing will provide advanced network and data analysis tools, cybersecurity training and simulation platforms, and network protection solutions. Head Italia will contribute local market expertise, information technology professionals and established relationships with the Italian defense and government sectors.
