Boeing Statement on Allied Air Cargo Accident

SEATTLE, June 2, 2012 – The Boeing Company offers its deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those lost as a result of an accident involving an Allied Air Cargo 727-200 Freighter in Accra, Ghana, and extends its wishes for the recovery of those injured.

At the request of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Boeing Air Safety Investigation will join with the NTSB to provide technical assistance the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority in its investigation.

In accordance with the international protocol that governs aviation accident investigations, all inquiries about the investigation must be directed to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.
